We are a high-volume clinic, and while we keep everything as clean and sterile as possible, we cannot control for airborne viruses. Therefore, we recommend every animal be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to surgery. We cannot be held responsible for complications resulting from contagious diseases for which the animal was not properly vaccinated. We offer low-cost vaccinations at our Vaccine Clinic.

All spay/neuter surgeries are performed by a qualified and licensed Veterinarian (DVM).

We now require a deposit when you make an appointment to reserve your pet’s surgery ($55 for cats, $75 for dogs).  Your deposit will be deducted from your balance due on the day of surgery.

Cancellations – If you need to cancel or reschedule your pet’s appointment, please notify us no later than 48 hours before the surgery date and your deposit will be refunded.  Late cancellations or no shows will forfeit their deposit and it will be considered a donation.

All spay/neuter surgeries are performed by licensed veterinarians (DVMs) and all animals entrusted to Dixie Day Spay are attended to before and after spay/neuter surgery by trained veterinary technicians. Every patient receives pain medication.

Aggressive Dog Policy: The safety and well-being of our staff is extremely important to us. If your dog shows signs of aggression, we will ask that you have your pet muzzled at drop off and to remain in the parking lot until we determine your animal can be safely handled.
